California pepper burl and Smokey grey
Sometimes you have your hands on a piece of wood and you know using epoxy will bring out the best it has to offer. Pepper burl is known for pretty much splintering as soon as its cut, rendering it almost useless with out stabilization. Not only were we able t keep this material out of the chipper, we turned it into a piece of art.
This elegant food safe epoxy and maple serving board will add a great focal point to any kitchen. Size is roughly 10" wide, 16" long, and 7/8” thick. Our boards are created from 100% food safe materials. Our epoxy is approved for both food presentation and food preperation. After final sanding down to 2000 grit, our boards are finished with 3 coats of food safe oil finish that will not dry out after just a couple uses. Under normal kitchen use these boards will last a lifetime. Never in the dishwasher and never fully submerged in water. After use, lightly clean and rinse with water and dry with a clean towel.
